Hello, I'm Melissa -- the creative force behind the lens. I’m a 30 something woman, navigating the roles of wife, and step-mama. Fueled by big dreams, and a good iced white chocolate breve, you can often find me taking on more than I can handle. When I'm not deep in shooting, editing, or managing the social media scene, you can catch me homeschooling, tending to my small farm, slingin' coffee at the local coffee house, and keeping my garden and houseplants in check.
Hooked on re-runs of my favorite shows, lash extensions, and devouring sushi like it's my last meal. True crime junkie, and avid explorer of new places. I'm all about abandoned/old buildings, and vintage thrift finds.
An introvert at heart, I thrive in the subtle, quiet moments. More observer than in-your-face, I bring a unique perspective to my work. I prefer prompts over posing, and my favorite moments are those little ones in between. If there's one thing I wish my clients would embrace, it's the beauty found in the imperfections. It's okay if your toddler needs extra snuggles, if your weight doesn't align with societal standards, or your home isn't in a picture-perfect state. These so-called 'imperfections' are the authentic threads that weave into your story, and it's in these genuine moments that true beauty emerges.
